VILLAGE HALL LATEST MARCH 2005

RETURN TO HOME PAGE

The Old Hall has been demolished, and the timber frames will be arriving soon. The New Hall is expected to be available early in 2006. We have funding of £280,000 this is sufficient to make the Hall usable but not enough to finish the changing rooms and the meeting room. Please help us to finish completely by donating to the Founder Members and Bricklaying schemes

In the autumn the Village Hall Committee will meet and invite the leaders of existing and potential users to join the Committee and have their say regarding bookings, costs and hire fees.

The National Lottery refused us funds, but others have been more helpful, mainly the District and County Council, the Parish Council, Lloyds TSB, Wyvern Waste, Hastoe, and others, not least DEFRA who will fit out the kitchen. Please see important information below regarding the A G M and the audited accounts including the comprehensive fund raising account for New Village Hall.
